Help Iran
The KTEB believes in democracy and freedom of speech. Iranians have had their vote stolen, but they will not be silenced. There are plenty of things you can do from your home to help this repressed country. Here are the best sources from which you’ll find the information you’ll need:
- Greenwave Info – Wiki project to spread useful information about the current protests in Iran.
- Why We Protest – Comprehensive and organised forum created as a save-heaven for Iranians. Activists outside Iran will find resources to promote the cause.
- The Sharearchy – Collection of resources and information on how to help.
- BoingBoing – Cyberwar guide for Iran elections.
- Austin Heap – This person works very hard to provide secure and reliable proxies to Iranians. If you’re knowledgeable in the technical field, help out and set up a proxy. Read his blog anyway, whether you intend to set up a proxy or not.
- Tor – Run Tor, the most efficient, most anonymous proxy service to secure Iranian access to Internet outside Iran.
- Twitter – Here is where the biggest part of the revolution, Internet-wise, is taking place. If you have an account, follow #IranElection and #GR88. These are the only two legitimate hashtags being used by Iranians. Also, follow @ProtesterHelp and @austinheap.
